NR2003 RULES OVERVIEW

You must read and agree with these rules to register and race in any RTG NR2003 event.

  • THIS IS A NO DRAMA LEAGUE!!!

 

  • You must be 21 years old to race @ RTG.   All new drivers will be on a 90 day probation.

 

  • All drivers must register and race with their real name. No tags allowed.
    • Do not change name in player info mid-season.  You will be scored as 2 drivers and points WILL NOT be fixed.

 

  • All drivers are expected to race with their correct Car# and have all of their carfiles uploaded.
    • Do no use another driver’s number.  A current list of claimed and open numbers is located in our forum.

 

  • Teamspeak 3 is mandatory to race at RTG.  Get Teamspeak HERE.

    • Driver presence in teamspeak is requred (with a working microphone) from the driver’s meeting to race completion.

 

  • Flaming and outbursts will not be tolerated in Teamspeak or in-game chat.
    • This includes, but is not limited to: Profanity, Racist Remarks, Disrespectful Language, etc.

 

  • Careless, Reckless and Unsportsmanlike Driving and Conduct will be handled on a case-by-case basis
    • Penalties range from a -1 lap penalty to Suspension.

 

  • Drivers should not manually disconnect from the server once it’s reset for driver’s meeting without Staff permission.

 

  • On all starts and restarts, the leader has lane choice (high or low).
    • The green flag starts the race at all times.
    • Jumping the start and attempting to pass before the start/finish line is not allowed.
    • Changing lanes before the start/finish line is also not allowed.

 

  • We have a 2 Incident and Park rule PER EVENT.  Any driver causing 2 incidents must park after 2nd incident.
    • 1st incident you must make 4-tire pit stop or speed 2nd time by unless directed otherwise by a Staff Member.
    • 2nd incident you must park for the night and will be on a 1 and Park the next event in that series.
    • If a driver on a 1 and Park causes a 2nd incident in the same race, they will be parked for a minumum of 2 races and an additional race for each incident caused in that same race afterward.
    • If you fail to park for 2 incidents in an event, or after your first incident while on a 1 and park, you will be parked for the following event in that series and will remain on a 1 and Park until completing an incident free race.

 

  • NO RACING BACK to the caution unless 15 laps or less remain.
    • Hold your position when the caution comes out with more that 15 laps to go
    • Do not start slowing at the start/finish line.  Maintain a steady pace and racing line until in turn 2 or on the backstretch.

 

  • 2 Lucky Dogs are allowed per caution if needed.
    • Lucky Dogs will be the top 2 drivers that are 1 or more laps down.
    • Lucky Dogs must pit 2nd time by and line up behind the pace car until the lights go out unless directed otherwise by a Staff Member.

 

  • Self-inlicted black flags will not be cleared.
    • If you get a black flag as the results of another driver, it may be cleared.
    • Clearing of black flags will be reviewed and drivers may be penalized for having a legitimate black flag cleared.

 

  • Drivers are allowed to protest incidents by submitting a formal request to the Replay Review Committee in the forum.

 

  • Stopping on the track or in your pit stall under green with the intention to retire is not allowed.
    • Either action will result in an incident if the caution flag comes out for doing so.
